Founded in 2025, Mahogany House was created to provide essential services and transitional housing for at-risk unaccompanied, homeless students and aged-out foster children in our community. Mahogany House is a 501(c)(3) organization was founded by Ruby Watson, who has a deep passion for supporting homeless youth. She recognized the urgent need for a safe and supportive environment, for at-risk unaccompanied students and aged-out foster children experiencing homelessness in our city.
Mission: Mahogany House's mission is to offer transitional housing as a safe alternative for at-risk, unaccompanied homeless students and aged-out foster children. We aim to teach a multitude of life skills so they can survive and thrive.
